Blatant Entrapment
ENTRAPMENT BY RED LIGHT CAMERA
When the protected left turn signals are on as indicated by the green arrows, requiring a full stop by right turning vehicles as indicated by the red arrows is unnecessary. Strict enforcement of the red light law here is entrapment because it does not enhance safety, only raises revenue and restricts the flow of traffic. Instead of punishing rolling stop violations additional traffic lights with right turn arrows should be provided.
